Kenneth Stratford Ririe

Kenneth Stratford Ririe  was reunited with his loving parents on February 9Th , 2018. Our loving Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Husband, and friend will be greatly missed  by all who knew him. Kenneth fought a health battle for several years and kept on fighting right up to the end. He passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his sweetheart.  Kenneth was born in Ogden Utah on July 5th, 1932. He was the second of five children.

He was always a hard worker and never complained to get up and go to work. He enjoyed his hobbies which included hunting with his sons and grandsons and also enjoyed coaching little league, fishing with his family and coaching womens softball for many years. He enjoyed most sports especially basketball and football and would watch any game that was on TV.  Kenneth also served in the US Army during the Korean war from 1952 to 1954.

He raised five sons and two daughters that he loved and cared for very much.

He is survived by his wife Colleen Ririe, and his children, Larry (Celece) Ririe, Char (Larry) Mitchell, Bryan (Terri) Ririe, Brad Ririe, Curt (Dianne) Kelsey, Ryan (Tressa) Ririe, Tiffany (Kris) Montgomery, and many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by His Parents, Floyd and Berenice Ririe, Grandson, Troy Ririe, Grandson, Brady Mitchell, Grandson, Liam Ririe, Sister, Janice Kunz, Sister in law, Marilyn Ririe.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 13th at 11:00 a.m. at the Orchard 4th Ward, 55 East 350 North, North Salt Lake.  A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6:00-8:00p.m. There will also be a viewing held at 10:00 a.m. before the services that will start at 11:00a.m.

Heartfelt thanks for the loving care that was given at Life care center in Bountiful and Brighten Home health and Hospice.
