Adan Solano, 50, of South Jordan, Utah, passed away suddenly on December 6, 2025, in Murray, Utah.

Adan was born on December 19, 1974, in Acatlán del Río, Iguala, Guerrero, Mexico, to Pedro Solano Morales and Teodora Bustamante. He was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Adan enjoyed fishing and hunting and had a natural ability to figure out how things worked. He took pride in being handy around the house and loved cars, often spending time working on his truck. He enjoyed traveling, especially when it meant visiting his family in Mexico or wherever they were gathered.

Adan volunteered with Mothers Against Drunk Driving for several years because he cared about helping others. While recovering from a spinal cord injury, he joined a wheelchair rugby team, facing challenges with courage and determination. He was always the one to check in on people, making sure everyone was okay, and was quick to help however he could.

Adan is survived by his wife, Katherine Solano; his children, Andres (Yaritza), Marco, and Giovanni; and his two grandchildren, Luna and Nico. He is also survived by his father, Pedro Solano Morales, and his siblings: Rocenda, Margarita, Juana, Fernando, Roberto, Pedro, and Obdulia.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Teodora Bustamante, and his siblings: Francisco, Eberardo, Celia, and Delia.

Funeral services will be held on December 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel, located at 9455 S. 4800 W., South Jordan, Utah.
