Alberto Avila Villanueva, age 72, passed away on November 9, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on July 9, 1952, in Tequila Jalisco, Mexico to Juan Avila Casteneda and Maria Rosario Villanueva Maldonado. He married Irene Mary Ann Rosenbaum Avila.
Alberto loved to fish, hike, watch sports, cook, and ride horses. He enjoyed spending time with his two sons and loved them both very much. He is now in heaven with his loving wife.
Alberto is survived by his two sons Alberto Avila Jr. and Andrew Avila.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Irene Mary Ann Rosenbaum.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. You may visit with the family at a viewing prior to services from 12:00 to 1:45 PM. Interment following services at Memorial Redwood Cemetery at the same address.
