Alta Kendall Taylor

Alta, a beautiful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her home on August 26, 2016.  She was born on August 28, 1932 in Morgan, Utah to Norman Scott Kendall and Afton Compton Kendall.

Alta was married to Gerald E. Wallace in 1952, and later divorced. She married Leonard T. Taylor on June 18, 1975 and they enjoyed their 41 years or marriage together.

She is survived by her husband Leonard T. Taylor, and children, Rick (Jo Ann) Wallace, Linda Wallace (Vance Murphy), Scott (Linda) Wallace, Lisa (Doug) Dilley, Cal (Sue) Taylor, Kim (Mary) Taylor, Julie (Bryon) Nielsen, and Janene (Glen) Davis, as well as 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and many more adopted along the way.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Rosecrest 2nd Ward, 3101 South 2300 East at 11:00 AM.  The family will welcome those wishing to pay their respects on Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and Wednesday at the church before the funeral service from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
