Alta Holden Wells Watson

Our beloved Mother, Partner, Grandmother (Nana), Great Grandmother, returned to her Heavenly Father Feb. 25, 2008, in Las Vegas, Nevada surrounded by her family. Alta was born in Mapleton, ID August 26, 1919. Alta was the eldest daughter born to Enos and Hazel Holden She married Kenneth Wells in Salt Lake City, Utah, and then later divorced. Alta was a great lady and took care of everyone she came in contact with. She was always involved and helped family members when needed. She worked at Manny's and the Tap Room for over 45 years. She was a long time resident of the Sugarhouse community. She loved Ralph her partner of 42 years very much. Alta loved her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all. The family is comforted by the knowledge that she suffers no longer and has been reunited with her daughter Cherie. She is survived by her son Scott (Pam) Wells; Kent (Janeal) Wells, Grandchildren Heather Sisson, Kimberly Wells, Emily (Mike) Montague, David (Amy) Wells, Rick (Bre) Wells, Michael (Evelyn) Wells, and Katie Wells. Great-Grandchildren Josh, Matthew, Zachory, Bentley, Devan. Sisters and Brothers; Darma, Lyola, Faye, Sharon, Lorraine, Delbert and Howard. Preceded in death by her parents; daughter Cheri, Grandsons Rance, Scott Kenneth; Sisters and Brothers; Lorna (Peg), Willis, Milo, and Reed. For those who wish to pay their respects, a viewing will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at the Holbrook Mortuary (3251 S. 2300 E.) in Salt Lake City, Utah from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Murray City Cemetery.
