Amanda Peterson

Amanda Peterson, lovingly known as Mandy, passed away on October 12, 2026, in Ticaboo, Utah. She was born on May 22, 1973, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Mandy will be remembered as someone who found beauty in the world around her. She enjoyed photography and especially loved taking photos of flowers, capturing the quiet details that brought her joy. She also loved hiking, dogs, books, cooking, horses, audiobooks, and, above all, her family. These simple pleasures helped shape a life that was warm, thoughtful, and rooted in appreciation for the world around her.

Family was at the heart of Mandy’s life. She is survived by her husband, Oscar Peterson, her brothers, Paul Watson (Sami), and Mike Brown (Brandi); by Tammy Martin; by her step-father, Bruce Brown; her aunt, Ginna (Ron); her niece, Shelbi (Brynt); her nephew, Roger Watson; her great-grandchildren, Kaytasha and Elijah; and countless other nieces and nephews who will all miss their Aunt Mandy. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her, and her memory will remain close to their hearts.

Mandy was preceded in death by Cammie Brown, Roger Watson Sr., and her grandparents and great-grandparents.

Amanda “Mandy” Peterson will be remembered with love for her gentle appreciation of life, her many interests, and the care she held for her family. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her.
