Obituary

Amber Chalyse Lewis, born on October 18, 1982, in Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on December 29, 2025, in Bountiful, Utah. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to her family and friends.

Amber was known for her remarkable ability to remember names, times, and events—often serving as the go-to person in any social gathering. Her friends and family could always count on her presence at events, albeit sometimes arriving an hour or two late, which only added to her endearing charm. Amber's personality was a reflection of her caring nature; she had a talent for making others feel at ease during difficult times, often placing the needs of others before her own. She possessed a great sense of humor that brought joy to those around her.

An avid writer, Amber found solace and expression through her words. Her love language was evident in the letters she penned, each one filled with thoughtfulness that touched the souls of her recipients. Music was another passion, and she loved engaging in car karaoke and music trivia with her loved ones. Her enthusiasm for life extended to a variety of hobbies, including maintaining her pool, engaging in arts and crafts with children, and soaking up the sun in her backyard while listening to her favorite tunes. Amber's creativity knew no bounds, and she often crafted personal signs for various events, showcasing her dedication to celebrating life's moments.

Amber was a devoted and loving mother to her three children: Kira Ryleigh Lewis, Danek James Lewis, and Kyleigh Chalyse Blymiller. She was deeply involved in their upbringing, always striving to carve out precious moments together, often pushing the clock to spend just a few extra seconds with them. Her commitment to her children reflected the depth of her love, which was as boundless as her spirit.

She is survived by her father, William Emil Weeks, and his wife, Jennette Weeks; brother Dominic (Brad) James Perry, and his wife, Reena Perry; brother Corey Leif Weeks; sister Danielle Marie Christiansen and her husband, Cody Christiansen; brother Braidan Asa Weeks. Amber is predeceased by her mother, Julie Breinholt; paternal grandparents Calvin and Verena Weeks; and maternal grandparents Richard and Janet Breinholt.

Amber's memorial services will be held on January 8, 2026, at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery in West Jordan, Utah. Visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a memorial service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
