Andrew Edwin Anderson

Andrew Edwin (Andy) Anderson passed away peacefully on May 9th, 2021 in Holladay, Utah.  Born January 28th,1932 in Farmington, Utah to Hyrum and Dorothy Anderson.  Andy married Florence Joan Solomon April 29th 1957 in Elko, Nevada.  Andy proudly served in the U.S. Airforce from November 1951 thru November 1955 during the Korean conflict and was honorably discharged from the service November 1955. He was a proud union Member for many years and retired from Kennecott Copper Corporation taking a job in retirement at Willow Creek Country Club in Sandy, Utah.

Preceded in death by his wife Florence Joan Anderson, beloved brother Lynn Anderson and his parents Hyrum and Dorothy Anderson.

Andy is survived by his three daughters, Malinda Sullivan (Brett), JoAnna Anderson, April Boren and four grandchildren: Daniel Andrew Sullivan, Shannon Sullivan, Aaron Boren, Alex Boren and his great granddaughter Alainn Fae Boren.

The Family wishes to send special thanks to his care givers over the last few years and the Meals on Wheels program and it's volunteers.

A viewing will be held at Holbrook Mortuary 3251 South 2300 East, Salt Lake City, Utah Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Memorial service to follow at 11:00 am.  Interment:  Elysian Burial Gardens.
