Angelo Robert Cimino-Riga

April 13, 1983 — September 27, 2022

Angelo Robert Cimino-Riga passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 39 years old on September 27, 2022 in his hometown of West Jordan, Utah.
He was born on April 13, 1983 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Steve and Mindy Riga.
He married his soulmate, Anna Marie Riga on April 15, 2008.
His greatest accomplishment in his life was marrying Anna and building a family together with their three amazing boys whom he loved dearly. He instilled pride, honor, loyalty, passion, strength and empathy in his boys that you can see in them daily.
He was a huge family man and loved being with his family any time he could.
It was always his biggest dream to become a Dad.
Domanik would like you to know some of his favorite memories with his Dad were spent going on drives, watching movies and playing video games.
Gianni would like you to know some of his favorite memories with his Dad were spent doing artwork, listening to music and playing video games.
Angelo would like you to know some of his favorite memories with his Dad were tinkering/building things, playing video games and learning new trampoline tricks.
He loved his family and animals so much, he made it a top priority of his for his boys to be extremely close to his parents, sister and brother. He loved hard and would do anything for someone in need especially his loved ones. He was the kind of man you would call if you were looking for a laugh or a shoulder to cry on. You could always count on him being there for you. He had the most infectious smile and laugh that could cheer anyone up.
His artistic talents ranged from traditional to graphical media. He had recently started taking his artistry to a different level by carving sticks and making them into walking sticks. He created some of the most beautiful pieces of art that we are so fortunate to have to remember him by.
He found great joy in listening to music, writing, tinkering/building things, working on his motorcycle or car, researching his family’s Italian ancestry, learning more about history and eating marshmallow cereal while watching cartoons with his boys.
He loved being outdoors whether it was camping with the family, riding his BMX bike or cruising on his motorcycle alongside his brother. He was so incredibly loved and will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
His legacy will forever live on in each one of us especially in his three Spartan boys.
He is survived by his grandma, Lorrene Orvin, his parents, Steve and Mindy Riga, his siblings, Kira Marie Riga and Anthony Robert Riga, his wife, Anna Marie Riga, his 3 boys, Domanik Angelo Riga, Gianni Anthony Riga, Angelo Deville Riga and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his big sister, Mindy “Little Mindy” Riga, his grandparents, Robert and Barbara Riga and Glen Orvin, his aunt, Margi Smith and his uncle, Joe Orvin.
