Thân Trọng Anh, age 79, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on March 10, 2023.
Born in 1944, Anh recently celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary. Anh is survived by his wife Phan Thị Hồng Thanh, six children; Đức,
Tại (Carla), Thanh Trực (Tưởng Huấn), Thanh Thảo (Benjamin), Thanh Thủy (Vinh), and Thanh Từng (Michel) and nine grandchildren. During his lifetime, Anh was a devout Buddhist, helicopter pilot, master gardener, and world’s greatest fisherman. He was a fan of the Denver
Broncos & University of Utah. Anh will be remembered most by his family for his love, charm, sense of humor and handsome head of hair. Anh was very proud of his heritage, passing down knowledge of traditions and culture. In his spare time, Anh loved teaching and being involved in the Vietnamese Buddhist community. His wisdom will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at Redwood Memorial Estates on Sunday March 19, 2023 from 2:00-6:00pm.
