Born 12/29/1944 in Morgan, UT to Wayne and Marjorie (Luckey) Mortenson She married the love of her life Lamar Richard Hardman in 1974, he preceded her in death in 2007, and she carried his memory with her in the years that followed.
Ann is survived by Shayne (Lauri) Robison, Kelly (Anje) Hardman, five grandchildren; Alicia (Josh), Cody, Shay (Codie), Taylor, Kaleb (Sydney) three great grand children Nephi, Alma and Kiko, Eight sisters that she loved dearly and spent their years full of love and laughter. Pat (Alton) Olsen (both deceased), Carol (Don, deceased) Preece, Cleo (Denny) Stuart (both deceased), Judy Hebdon, Susan (Jeff) Ovard, Brenda (Dennis) Henefer, Denise (Howard) Hansen, and Jill Fawcett.

Ann enjoyed crocheting, cheering for the Utes football and basketball teams, watching Hallmark Christmas Movies, baking in the kitchen making her “famous” brownies and working in her flower beds. She loved being outside in the fresh air and sunshine and looked forward to that every spring. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and most recently her great-grandchildren.
Ann loved the monthly luncheons with her sisters to celebrate birthdays and stay connected to what was going on in their lives. The trips she took with her sisters/family left her with many cherished memories.
This is a poem Ann requested we share with everyone
As you travel through life, when you stop and look behind you, may the times that
you’ve been happy far outnumber the times when fate has been unkind.
And may much more happiness be awaiting you on the journey yet to be.
A special thanks to her best friend Marjoe Back for her friendship and support over the years. With deepest gratitude, we thank you for your courage and compassion in a critical moment. It meant everything to our family. Your love and selfless efforts will never be forgotten.
To Jared Mathis, we are deeply grateful for the love, care, and spiritual guidance you provided her over the years. Your compassion and support brought her comfort and peace, and your kindness will always be remembered.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that those wishing to honor Ann’s memory consider making a donation in her name to a charity of their choice. Causes close to her heart included ALS, cancer research, and the Humane Society.
