Ann Palmer Rasmussen

Ann Palmer Rasmussen, 79, passed away unexpectedly on December 15, 2022.
Ann was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on January 12, 1943 to Clarence L Palmer and Pearl M Jensen Palmer. Married Gary Lee Rasmussen, April 20, 1962 in the Salt Lake Temple. She graduated from West High School. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids.
 
She worked for United Healthcare for about 30 years followed by Memorial Estates for many years after that. She was a member of the Crescent North Stake for almost 60 years where she developed many friendships. Some of her favorite hobbies were spending time golfing, bowling, and playing cards with family. While she was able to, she loved creating beautiful cross stitch images and quilts in her free time.
 
She is survived by son Darren (Elizabeth) Rasmussen, and daughters; Tawny (Paul) Laveder, Jana (Michael) Franz and Angie (Keith) Andrews; 4 granddaughters, a grandson, and a great grandson; sisters: Marilyn Jones and Pearlene Warner. Preceded in death by husband Gary, parents, brother Delano and grandson, Colby Rasmussen.
 
Family would like to thank her best friend/sister Pearlene and extended family member Shannon Shingleton for the endless time and service in helping our mom with love and support. In Lieu of flowers, please donate funds in Ann’s name to Diabetes Research.
 
Graveside Services for Ann will be held on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Lake Hills Cemetery at 12 PM. A Viewing for Ann will also be held on Thursday night, December 22, 2022 from 6 to 8 PM at the same location where the last half hour will be reserved for people to share a thought or memory. Along with a short gathering to be held an hour prior to the Graveside service on Friday.
