Ann Wheeler

Ann Hamilton Kindel Wheeler passed away peacefully Monday morning June 15, 2009, at the age of 93, due to both heart and lung disease. Ann was born October 12, 1915, in Portsmouth, OH to Alma Hitchcock and William Hamilton. She married Thomas J. Kindel in 1934 in Hollywood, CA, with whom she had four children. They later divorced. In March of 1965 she married Robert J. Wheeler in Santa Barbara, CA, who preceded her in death.

Ann was "quite a dame" with an amazing spirit! She lived 70 years of her life in Santa Barbara, CA, and moved to Salt Lake City to live with her daughter Sue Frank and family for the last nine years. She lived her 93 years to the fullest. She was determined to do anything she set her mind to, and will always be remembered for her positive attitude and wonderful sense of humor. Her many joys in life included aviation, AA, baseball, computers, gambling, gardening, "hot" jazz music and spending time with her family, especially the little ones.

Ann is survived by her children, Judy Kindel Guidotti, Stephen Kindel, Sue (John) Frank,; grandchildren, Tony (Keely) Guidotti, Shari (Troy) Garst, Spring Suelzle, Tom (Tara) Kindel, Taunya (Christoph) Dressler, Dustin Frank, David Frank; great-grandchildren, Kelsey (Joe) Werner, Danika (Thomas) Liebengood, Jordan Garst, Taylor Garst, Elle Suelzle; and great great-grandchild, William Werner. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas H. Kindel; and grandson, William Guidotti.
