Anna Rae Hart

September 6, 2023, a sad day, but not a bad day! After a courageous fight with metastatic colon cancer, with her family by her side until the end, Anna won the battle and returned home to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Anna was a wife, mom, grandma, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and last but not least, and one of her favorite titles Old Great Grandma! She truly lived her life for Jesus, and it shined through in the love that she had for her family and friends, and all the way to complete strangers and everyone she met along the way.
Anna was born to Jack and Norma Neilsen on December 7, 1946. She married her one and only true love, her sweet “Hart” Keith, on 11/18/1966. Together they had two children, Richard and Shauna, and a niece, Jackie, that they raised as their own for 7 years.
Anna was preceded in death by her mom Norma, and dad Jack, and her twin sisters Sherry and Jerry.
She is survived by her husband of almost 57 years, Keith, her sister Sandra, son Richard (Tammy), Daughter Shauna (Emory), 7 grandkids and 8 great grandkids. Janna (Jeremy, – GG Gage, Damien, Hunter, AnnaLeigh), Mike (Becca), Dallas (Taylor), Nikayla (Brandon, GG Arianna, Sailor, Olivia), Steven (Michelle, GG Rhett) Alex, and Joel. Her niece Jackie, and many other nieces and nephews.
Anna was loved so much by all of us! We will miss her, but we find peace in knowing where she is and knowing we can all be together again.
From the entire family, to Becca, a huge thank you! It would not have been possible to have Anna at home these last few weeks without the selfless care that you provided to her!
A viewing will be held at Intermountain Baptist Church (4770 S 1950 W Taylorsville) on Saturday September 16, 2023 at 9:30 A.M and a service following at 11:00 A.M. The graveside ceremony will be at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery at 12:30.Service Information
