Annette Price

July 4, 1940 — April 29, 2025

Loving Mom, Grandma, Sister, and friend, Annette passed away on April 29, 2025, in Riverton, Utah. She was born on July 4, 1940, to Jolene and Russell Gilbert.

She is survived by her daughter Darla (Dave), Granddaughter’s Darcee and Jamie Willard, Grandson’s J.J. (Dionne), Jaxon and Aiden. Great-Grandchildren Khloe, Lilly, Aleiyah, Payten, Connor, Presley, and Kaysen. Her siblings Gary (Harriet), Charlene (Bill), Bill Jr. (Linda), and preceded in death by her son John Riley, and her younger brother Jeff Hargis. She also had very close and special friends that she considered family- Edie Burke, Winanne Brady, Doyle Harris, and Matt McCarty. She enjoyed having her family around every year on the 4th of July, when the whole country was also celebrating her birthday.

She traveled during her younger years and lived across the United States due to being in a military family. She lived in Delaware, Oklahoma, Arizona, and Hawaii, but eventually settled in Utah. She worked for Max Factor Make-up Company and took a lot of pride in her makeup and appearance. She loved gardening and tending to her yard so that she could enjoy the evening with her iced tea on the back porch and some company. We will miss her lighthearted sense of humor and her welcoming nature to anyone she met. You couldn’t go anywhere with her without her knowing someone and striking up a conversation.

She became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints later in life and took the sacrament and attended church whenever she could.

We would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff at The Lodge at Riverton for caring for her in her final months of life.
