Annette Solomon

May 1, 1954 — September 11, 2023

Annette Solomon passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 69 on Monday, September 11, 2023.
Annette was born on May 1, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah to John and Margaret Grissetti. She lived the majority of her life in West Jordan, Utah. She had two loving children with Richard Solomon: Matthew and Kimberly. Annette gracefully balanced the challenges of her career and being an extraordinary mother. She was proud when she could combine the two and provide her children with unforgettable memories.
Annette was a very hard and dedicated worker. She worked for the Bureau of Reclamation as a young adult. For nearly 30 years she dedicated herself to the Secret Service as an Administrator Officer. She assisted in the mission of investigating financial crimes and protecting our nation’s leaders. Here she created many meaningful lasting friendships and memories.
Annette was an amazing and dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was resilient and powerful. Annette enjoyed many hobbies throughout her life, some of which included watching her daughter and grandchildren play sports, bowling, gardening, cooking Sunday dinner for her family, traveling, and going to Wendover with her mother and sister.
Annette was a person who would give it to you straight but who also would do anything for you; her soul was compassionate and kind. She accepted everyone for who they were.
Annette is survived by her son, Matthew Solomon, and daughter, Kimberly Solomon; beloved grandchildren, Makadyn Middleton and Miles Solomon; brother, John Grissetti and sisters Lynda Waagen and Nancy Grissetti as well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be no formal services. The family will plan a celebration of life to commemorate the spirit of Annette Solomon. The date is forthcoming. Please come with any pictures and fun stories of Annette.
