Annette Perry Viola, 86, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, in Draper, Utah.
A Celebration of Life (Open House) will be held on October 25, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 8950 S. 1300 W., West Jordan, Utah. She was laid to rest at Lake Hills Cemetery on October 17th, 2025.
Annette was born on December 29, 1938, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to John and Ellen Glover. The oldest of three children, she later lived in Canada, Idaho, and Utah, where she raised six children who now reside across Florida, Utah, and Alaska.
A devoted and hardworking mother, Annette supported her family through determination, creativity, and the encouragement of friends and loved ones. She was a proud Irishwoman—strong, feisty, and full of spirit—who loved cross-stitching, gardening, her favorite flowers, Lily of the Valley, walking, friendships, and enjoying chocolate ice cream and chocolate chip cookies.
A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Annette lived her life with service and devotion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ellen Glover; her sister, Mauveen Nelson; her brother, Perry Glover; and her daughter, Michelle Homewood.
She is survived by her children Ellen Smith, Colleen Barker, Noelle (Wally) Hixon, Holly Fullmer, and John (Holly) Viola; 22 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Valencia Assisted Living and Serenity Hospice of Utah for their loving support and compassion during Annette’s time in their care.
