Arthur (Art) Donald Bailey

Art was born in Richmond, Indiana 3-2-1942, died 3-10-2021. He grew up on a farm in London, Kentucky. He was #7 in a family of nine kids. He joined the Marine Corp at age 19, where he learned the basics of Barbering, which later became his lifetime career.

Art is survived by his wife, Carol Brown Bailey, his children, John Bailey, Patty (Jim) Christy, Aimee Bailey, and Emilee Bailey; his sister Rose Lockaby, five grandchildren and too many nieces and nephews to even count. Art is also a cherished member of Carol's family, Julie Wright, Kimberly (Robert) Popish, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A private family funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 11:00am at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East. Attendance at the service is by invitation only, however everyone is invited to watch the service online.
