Ava Ann Seely passed into eternity to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, and her eternal family on October 11, 2025.
Ann was an exceptional quilter, having taught many classes and workshops with her mother, Ava, and sister Joyce. She loved creating new things and was always working on some new project. However, her most prized creation was the family she built with her dear husband Richard. They loved being together, whether spending time at home or serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Ann and Richard were blessed to be able to serve four different missions for the church, and she loved serving in the temple. She was the bright light that made everyone feel welcome and loved, no matter what. Ann has gone forward to prepare a new home for her family.
Her parents, Allen and Ava Winterton, preceded her in death. She is survived by her siblings Wayne Winterton, Joyce Stewart (Lynn), and Alene Nielsen (Brent), her beloved husband Rich, and her cherished children Mike (Jennifer), Dave, Steve (Cynthia) and their families.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1555 West Lovely Road, Salt Lake City, Utah. You may visit with the family at a viewing on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. An additional viewing will be held prior to services from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the church. Interment following services on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
