Avaio’i Rie Imoasina Fagaiava Fiamate- Pologa (36) passed away peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her family on July 5th, 2025 at 9:00am in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born in Apia, Samoa to Sharon Manuo & Sipapa Fagaiava. Rie was a high school graduate of Eisenhower High School located in Rialto, California. She then married her eternal companion/husband Leapyear Fiamate-Pologa in the Salt lake city temple. Rie was a hard worker and provided for her family being employed by the Minute Suites at the Salt Lake City Airport. She always loved to pick up overtime shifts and make that money. Outside of work, she truly lived life through taking care of her loved ones and babies she helped raise! Rie was a natural mother figure to many people in our family and to those she's met. She stood strong in her necessity to do temple work and also to the samoan community. One of Rie’s many passions in her lifetime was to perform.
