Barbara A. Jackson

October 13, 1928 — September 24, 2022

Barbara A Jackson, aged 93, passed away peacefully in her home in West Jordan, Utah surrounded by her loving family on September 24, 2022.
Barbara was born on October 13, 1928 to Victor Andersen and Hannah Ellenora Larsen in Provo, Utah.

Barbara’s life was dedicated to raising her five children (and a husband) and the family dog Suzy. Barbara loved to sew and made all of her children’s clothes for many years. Neighbors always made requests for her to sew something for them. She loved to sing in church choirs and did so for as long as she could. Most of her life was spent being a caregiver. She took care of her daughter, Janet, who had Cerebral Palsy for eighteen years. Then for many years she took care of her husband, Jim, after he had a stroke. Barbara loved to read and read the work and the glory series three times. Even as she lay in her bed the last few years, she still read all of the time.
Barbara is survived by her sons Brent and Dennis and her daughter Valerie.
Barbara is preceded in death by her beloved husband Jim, her son David, her daughter Janet, and her parents.
