Barbara Larraine Gibson "Aunt Barbara"

Barbara Gibson, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 after a short illness. She was born March 8, 1924 to Clarence and Alice May Gibson in Salt Lake City. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church, serving a mission in Chicago and in various other capacities. Barbara worked as a legal secretary and at the Union Pacific Railroad. She had a passion for genealogy, oil painting, reading and singing. She often sang with her sister and in many choirs. Barbara was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She is survived by her sister Lois (Noal) Hess, niece Marilyn (Ron) Olsen, nephews Allen Hess and David (Natalie) Hess as well as many great nieces and nephews. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be Monday, April 9 at 11:00 am at the Crystal Heights 1st Ward, 1978 East Stratford Ave. (2577 South).
