Barbara Ruth Langston

Barbara Ruth Langston, age 46, passed away on January 9th, 2009 in Holladay Utah from Heath Complications. She was born January 5th, 1963 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the daughter of Lloyd Owen and LoRena Larsen Langston.

Barbara served an L.D.S Mission in Toronto, Canada 1984-1985. She worked as a C.N.A for 16 years and loved to take care of the elderly. A devoted single mom who loved and cared for her 12 year old son, Brandon. Her favorite times were spent with the family and two very special friends Jeanette Wells and Robin Allires. She will be missed by all who knew her.

As a family, we would like to thank everyone for your love and support. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions can be made to the Brandon Langston fund at any Granite Credit Union.

Survived by her son, Brandon Owen Langston; mother, LoRena Langston; brothers: Tom Sawyer and Mark Langston; Sisters: Karen Sawyer, Kate Moskios, Suzie Langston. Preceded in death by her father, Lloyd; Brother, Wayne; sister, Jillyn.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2009, 11:00am at the Winder 2nd LDS Ward, 1361 East 4000 South, where friends may visit with the family from 9:45am to 10:45am prior to the services.
