Bastianntje (Jeanne) Dykgraaf Leeflang

Bastianntje, better known as Sijaan, Jeanne, or Jean Leeflang , in the presence of family, passed on April 7. She was grateful for everything---even the smallest, simplest things. Gratitude always graced her life. Her faith gave her an optimism that others could gather strength from.

She grew old gracefully and effused happiness in her old age. She constantly talked about how pleased she was with her very large family. She is now reunited with her husband Arie, son Pieter, a loving grandfather Bartus Looren deJong, and many others in the extension of this earthly life.

All family members would like to express a special thanks to the staff at Canyon Creek Memory Care Center and Hospice for the exceptional loving care given to our mother.

Bastianntje (Jeanne) is survived by her sons, Bert (Debbie), Bill (Kathy), Bart (Sue), Joe; daughters, Jeanne (Dave) McDonald, Rebecka (Randy) Memmott, Pam (David) Kramer, Patricia (Paul) Milbury, Lia (Greg) Peterson; 40 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 12 Noon at the East Mill Creek 9th Ward, 3750 South Hillside Lane (2600 East), where friends and family can visit from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service.
