BeckyAnn Smith Cardinelle 1979 ~ 2007

BeckyAnn Smith Cardinelle, age 27, of Heber City, Utah, died peacefully of cancer-related complications on Wednesday, May 16, 2007. She was born on October 30, 1979, the daughter of Mark Smith and Marcia Sorensen Smith Miner. BeckyAnn enjoyed dancing, swimming and painting, and had a love of the ocean and the outdoors. She was married to Christopher Cardinelle on Jan. 31, 2004, and, above all else, loved being a wife and mother. As a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she spent her life following Christ's example by caring for and serving others. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers Max E. Smith and Neil H. Sorensen. She is survived by her loving husband and daughter; parents, Mark Smith, Marcia Miner, and Boyd Miner; paternal grandmother Eileen Smith; maternal grandmother Charlyn Sorensen; step-grandparents, Gary and Dawn Miner; four sisters, April Horrocks (Josh), Natalie Barker (Chad), Nichole Smith and Dakota Smith; four step-brothers, Joel Miner, Jarred Miner, Nigel Miner, and Parker Miner; and half-brother Jonathan Smith. She also has many in-laws, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, and cousins whom she loved dearly, and who have made a great impact in her life. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 21, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Heber 4th Ward, 500 South 200 West. Viewings will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2007 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Heber 4th Ward, and on Monday, May 21, 2007 from 9:45 A.M. to 10:45 A.M., prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy Utah.
