Benedicta Alvarenga de Oliveira Leme

Benedicta Alvarenga de Oliveira Leme age 92 passed away on July 24, 2025 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on June 4, 1933 in Sao Paulo, Brazil to Norberto Alvarenga and Maria Aparecida Da Conceicao. She married David de Oliveira Leme.

Benedicta loved being surrounded by her family. Her main purpose in life was to serve those she loved, actively contributing to help anyone in need. She cherished listening to and conversing with those who sought her counsel, and there were many who did. She worked for 30 years at Santa Casa de Misericórdia Hospital in Sao Paulo Brazil, where she received recognition for her excellence as a contributor to the institution.She was honored for her compassionate care of patients, her collegiality with staff and coworkers, her perfect attendance record, and never being late to work. She loved attending the LDS temple and serving in her church. She stayed informed about world events through newspapers and was constantly learning about politics, particularly regarding her home country of Brazil.

She is survived by sua filha, genro, sobrinhos e netos. Her daughter Jucara Leme Gregerson, son-in-law Eugene Gregerson, grandchildren Matthew, Zoe, Arthur, Davi, Paloma and Thales Gregerson and her nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by David de Oliveira Leme

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 30, 2025 at 11am at the LDS Vista View Ward Address: 900 Eaglepointe Dr, North Salt Lake, UT 84054
