Beris Wiberg Van Dyke, 83, passed away on October 12th, 2024 in South Jordan, UT. She was born on September 23rd, 1941 in Jonkoping, Sweden to Karl G and Britta Wiberg.
In 1948, she immigrated from Sweden to Salt Lake City, Utah, where she held numerous callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in the Salt Lake temple for over six years.
On December 28th, 1960, Beris married her husband Leon Van Dyke.
In her free time, she loved camping, riding four-wheelers, traveling, crafts, and sewing.
Beris is survived by her two daughters, Allison L (Mike) Forbush and Amy (Tom) Eisiminger; Her sister, Carol (Don) Burrell; Brother, Oke Wiberg; aswell as 12 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Van Dyke; Her son, Russell Leon Van Dyke; and her parents Karl G. and Britta Wiberg.
Beris's family would like to thank the Angels at Ability Hospice and Legacy House for their loving care during the last few months of her life.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, October 17th, 2024 at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery (6500 South, Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT.) at 10:00AM. A graveside service will follow at 11:00AM at the same location.
