Bernice Leona Swift Watts, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at home February 27, 2009. She was born October 23, 1923 in Salt Lake City to Katherine Regh and Loyal Swift. She married Nathaniel Clifford Watts April 27, 1947. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Bernice is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Rich) Woffinden, Joe (Kathy) Watts; 7 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lucille Tolpingrud, Marilyn (Ray) Henderson, Patricia Jensen; sister-in-law, Peggy Swift; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; 1 brother and 1 sister. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 2, 2009 at 12 noon at the Garden Heights Ward, 2220 East Fisher Lane (2935 South), where friends and family may visit from 10:30 to 11:30am prior to the service. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
