Bertha Ada Kendall Daniels passed away peacefully on July 17, 2011. She was born September 27, 1916 in Oxford, Idaho to Adea Matilda Millard and Joseph Bradford Kendall, Jr. Married to Norman Leslie Daniels October 2, 1947 in the Logan Temple.

Bertha had a love for the youth and demonstrated that through her work at Utah State University. She belonged to the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She was a published poet with the International Society of Poetry. She owned a beautician business. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many leadership positions throughout her life.

She is survived by her sons, Paul (Jeanette), and Garth; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; children, Deanne, Mary Leslie, and Allan Lee; siblings, Lula Williams, and Theone Kendall.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rosecrest 2nd Ward, 3101 South 2300 East. Friends and family can visit Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
