Blanche Osuna Symes

Our loving mother, grandmother, and friend Blanche Osuna Symes passed away January 5, 2019 in Tooele, Utah.  She was born October 28, 1920 in Tucson, Arizona to John Sougay and Libriana Osuna.

Mother of seven children, Blanche was a homemaker and a great cook. Everyone loved mom's Mexican dinners. She worked at and retired from Abbott Laboratories. She enjoyed embroidery and a good crossword puzzle. She will be missed.

Survived by children, Joe Symes, Iva Rose, David Symes, Ralph Symes, and Greg (Paula) Symes; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends and family may visit for a celebration at 12:00 noon on Thursday January 10, 2019 at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East. Burial at the Salt Lake City Cemetery following the celebration.
