Blanche Webb, beloved wife and loving mother, has safely returned home to her Heavenly Father. Although she will be greatly missed, we are comforted by a life well lived, sacred covenants honored, and the knowledge of a glorious resurrection. She fought a good fight. She has finished her course. She has kept the faith.
Blanche was born to goodly parents, James and Nellie Todd. She married Morris D. Webb in the Salt Lake Temple in 1947.
Her greatest hallmarks were testimony, faith, love, and service. Mom had a great love for the gospel and for music. She shared her talents in all of her church callings especially enjoying being the ward organist. Mom played the piano beautifully and had a lovely soprano singing voice.
She constantly showed her children that we were loved. She knew what mattered most and leaves a great legacy of love and service. "Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us ever day. Unseen, unheard, but always here, still loved, still missed, but ever and for always dear."
She is survived by her children: Dan & Terry, John & Pam, Todd & Allison Webb, Bonnie & Paul Hirst, and Barbara & Paul Simmons; 24 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Rosecrest 1st Ward, 3101 South 2300 East, at 12:00 p.m. Friends and family can visit at the church Friday evening, January 24, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service.
