Brandon Eric Davenport

October 22, 1983 — December 30, 2025

Brandon Eric Davenport passed away on December 30, 2025. He was born on October 22, 1983, in Bountiful, Utah, to Robin Hall and Guy Hollingsworth. Brandon was raised by his grandfather until 1991, when he joined his forever family, and he was adopted through LDS Social Services by Larry and Janice Davenport. As the youngest of seven siblings, Brandon completed the family and brought joy, energy, and love into their lives.

Brandon was an exceptionally intelligent child, full of energy and spunk. Though his young adulthood presented many challenges, he faced each one with determination and perseverance.

He attended and graduated from Fortis College, earning his certification in HVAC. Brandon also had a successful career in the trucking industry, working as a technician for Clean Gas. However, he left BLU to once again pursue his skills in HVAC.

On June 7, 2014, Brandon married the love of his life, Michelle. Their marriage was filled with deep love and companionship that few are fortunate enough to experience. Together with Michelle and her two sons, Gavin and Ein, Brandon found everything he had ever hoped for in life.

Brandon had a passion for camping, cats, motorcycles, and RC cars. He loved cooking and entertaining, especially barbecuing and smoking meat for family and friends. After long days tending the grill, he often ended the evening with hours of karaoke. Music and singing were among his greatest joys.

A self-taught handyman, Brandon was always willing to help anyone at any time. If he didn’t know how to fix something, he would learn—and then use that knowledge to serve others. His generosity, kindness, and willingness to help left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Brandon is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Davenport; his stepsons, Gavin Lee Dennis and Ein Dean Dennis; his parents, Larry and Janice Davenport; and his siblings: Shane (Shannon) Davenport, Mike (Candy) Davenport, Kristen (Eric) Davis, Alyssa (Brandon) Ulibarri, Tyler (Yen) Davenport, and Jacob Davenport. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives are forever better because they knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held to honor Brandon on Sunday, January 18, 2026. Family and friends are invited to attend an open house from 5-7 PM at the Murray Armory, 246 E Myrtle Avenue, Murray, Utah 84107. If you have one, please bring a printed picture of Brandon to leave on the memorial wall.
