Brenda Sue Brock

Brenda Brock, age 70, passed away peacefully and on her own terms surrounded by family and friends on September 7, 2023, in Salt Lake City after a short and courageous fight against breast cancer. Brenda was born to Rose Zdunich and Jimmie Marion Martin on May 21, 1953, in Texarkana, Arkansas where her family moved shortly after to Salt Lake along with her siblings.
Known as the lady everyone wanted to visit at U-scan at Smiths, Brenda made many friends, and throughout her life helped support others, and always made people feel welcomed with a quick hello.  Never one to let retirement settle, she loved to travel in her little red truck and often favored her spot at Flat Head Lake, Montana with her sister and partner in crime, Tina Mae Martin.
 
Brenda is survived by her three daughters.  including her twin girls, Meekem Newman, Brandy Brock-Brown (Jeff Brown), and Kadrina Conkle, grandson, Daynite Michael, sisters, Joann Holmied, Tina Mae Martin, Sandra Case, brother, Tim Martin, many nieces and nephews, and friends
She is preceded in death by her aunt, Josephine Milkovich Allen
The family wishes to express gratitude to Huntsman Cancer Institute, Dr Christos Vaklavas , who gave mom more time with her family and welcomed her always with a warm smile.
