Brent Charles Barr

Born May 20, 1968 Murray, Ut. Passed away Monday, August 22, 2011, Salt Lake City, Utah. Member LDS Church. Graduated Evanston High School, 1986. Married Vanessa Whittington, November 20, 1991, Fittstown, Oklahoma. Proud father of two wonderful sons, Bryce and Cameron. Worked in the truck parts business. Started up the Light Truck Division of Crane Carrier Corporation. Loved scouting. Avid baseball fan - knew every play of every game. Coached Little League. Key member of Skyline Baseball Booster Club. Loved playing video games with his boys. His dogs, Zoe and Piper will miss him, he loved them.

Survived by wife, Vanessa, sons; Bryce and Cameron, Salt Lake City, Utah parents; David and Connie Barr, Logan, Utah, brothers Bradley (Kristy), Casper, Wyoming, Christopher (Randi), Lewiston, Utah, Randy (Tracie), San Antonio, Texas. Sister-in-law, Madonna Tidwell (Bubba), Roff, Oklahoma, sister-in-law Marilyn Whittington, Milburn, Oklahoma, sister-in-law Rhonda Brown (David), Tishomingo, Oklahoma, brother-in-law, Edward Whittington, Oklahoma, Robert Whittington, Byers, Oklahoma, Andrea Rausch(Bob), Ashland, Ohio, great-grandmother, Martence Clark Thornton, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by grandparents, Charles Jess and Deloris Travis Barr, grandfather, Charles Robert Blockburger, In-laws, Charles Rodger and Joretta Fern Whittington, brother-in-law Rodger Dale Whittington.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 26, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at the Canyon Rim Second Ward Building, 3000 South Grace Street(3100 East), where friends may visit with the family between 9:45-11:15 am prior to services.
