Bruce Chase Hill

Bruce Chase Hill passed away peacefully after a brief illness in his home in West Valley City, Utah on July 29, 2025. He was born on November 3, 1964, to Elmo and Jean Hill in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Bruce was known for his kindness and dedication to those he loved. He lived a life defined by his passions and his love for his family. He was a true enthusiast of car racing. He could often be found a Rocky Mountain Raceway in Magna, where he dedicated countless hours to the sport and the community around it.

Chase’s love of photography produced many colorful pictures and collages that he shared with his family and friends. He also cherished his work at the Costco Warehouse in West Valley City, Utah, where he enjoyed the camaraderie of his colleagues and the job itself.

Chase leaves behind a legacy of love and will be deeply missed by his parents, Elmo and Jean Hill; daughter Sammie (Ray) McCullough; grandchildren Carson and Kieva McCullough; siblings Steve (Cathy) Hill, Kathy (Mark) Hislop, and Debbie (John) Tanner.

Per Bruce’s wishes, a private family ceremony will be held to lay him to rest.
