After a hard fought battle against addiction, Bryan's sojourn with us ended October 31, 2016. We are left with broken hearts, but comforted that he is at peace.
Bryan was born in Sacramento, California. He grew up in Westminster, Colorado, and spent the last few years in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended Arvada West High School and graduated from Arvada High School, Arvada, Colorado. He always enjoyed spending time with friends, especially skateboarding and snowboarding. He was a skilled Sushi Chef and enjoyed all things Japanese.
He would not consider himself religious, but had a tender heart and a quiet spirituality. He was compassionate and a support to those also facing challenges with addiction. He cherished his trip to Haiti in 2015 to repair wells and forged strong bonds with those involved.
Bryan leaves behind his parents, Rick & Sue Widdison, and his older sister Kate, Salt Lake City. He is the grandson of Milt & Ruth Widdison (deceased), and Bob & Kathy Lundquist, Orem.
Please join us to celebrate his life and share memories. Saturday, November 5, 2016. Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, Salt Lake City, Utah. Viewing 10 am – 11 am, Funeral 11:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to 12 Step Giving at 12stepgiving.com or by mail to 1984 North 320 West, Orem, Utah 84057.
