Burnell passed away peacefully at his home on April Fool's Day. Born May 6, 1941 in Delta, Utah to Mel and Helen Sharp. Married Dawnell Robinson. They had two children, Craig and Laurie. Burnell worked as an engineer for Union Pacific Railroad for twenty years. He was passionate about real estate and learning. He was a great thinker. He attended South High School in Salt Lake City, where he was involved in wrestling and boxing. He was also an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Survived by his beloved mother, Helen Sharp, his children, two grandchildren: Aubrey and Austin; and a sister, Shar Leigh. Preceded in death by his father. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 11:30 am at the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Friends and family may visit prior to the graveside service from 10:00 am to 10:30 am at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.
