Butch Brough

          Don P. (Butch) Brough passed away on Feb. 12, 2024, at the age of 74, at his home in Cottonwood Heights.  He was born June 6, 1949, in Salt Lake, to Don and Verdella Brough.| He graduated from Hillcrest High in 1967 and Westminster College in 1972. As a young man, he competed in barrel racing and cutting competitions, winning many trophies with his champion Quarter Horse, Chief.

         Like his father, Butch worked for many decades as a brick mason. He is survived by a brother, Richard Brough. He was proceeded in death by his parents.

          Family and friends are invited to a viewing on February 22^nd, noon, at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary, 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Boulevard.)    A burial gathering will take place at 2 p.m.
