Carl Muir

Carl Muir, the love of Gladys’ life, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022, in Murray, Utah, at the age of 87. He was born in Salt Lake City on July 6, 1935 to Harold D and Lucile Muir. He was blessed to be part of a large family with six siblings, which included his twin sister Carma.
Carl and Gladys met when he was 16 and Gladys was 15. Gladys was drawn to Carl because of his good looks in addition to his kind and fun personality. They married three years later on July 21, 1955. They felt heartache because they were unable to have children. They have lived in the same home in Murray since 1974. Carl was a successful car salesman and also enjoyed his 15 years of employment at All Star Bowling in Sandy, Utah.
Carl is preceded in death by his parents; Harold Dan and Lucile S. Muir and five siblings; Melba, Ron, Carma, George, and Joan. He is survived by his wife (Gladys) and his baby sister, Linda Bingham.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday December 8, 2022 at Bountiful City Cemetery.
Memorial Murray Mortuary assisted the family with Carl’s arrangements.
