Carol A Christensen

Carol A Christensen, born July 1, 1940, went to be with the Lord of all creation on October 24, 2024. Carol was born to Irene and Dr. Raymond R Christopher, founder of Nature's Way Herbal Supplements. Carol's older sister was Joy Bilven. She is survived by her son, Pete Christensen. Carol was a very accomplished and ambitious lady, working at the hospital at age 14 and becoming a nurse by age 16. Carol married Dean Christensen, went to the University of Utah, and became an RN. She gave birth to two sons, Pete and Pat, after several miscarriages. Carol later divorced after 13 years of marriage. She raised both boys as a single mother, working two jobs for many years, one with Salt Lake County for over 30 years, starting at just $3.60 per hour! When Pat came down with MS, Carol helped care for him for over 30 years. Carol paid off her house, sold it, bought a condo, and paid cash. Carol was funny, had a sharp wit, we couldn't have had a better mum!
