Carol King Hansen 4/20/47 – 7/13/13
Well —she finally did it. She bought the farm, bit the dust, and kicked the bucket all in one day, after a prolonged illness. She was surrounded by her family. She was loved by a many, respected by more, and FEARED by most. Her laughter was infectious and her witty remarks were never in short supply. Her ability to tell a story or recount her many adventures in life, will be sorely missed. Those who knew her well will forever miss her warmth, generosity, sense of humor, and way with words.
She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, aunt, mother, grandmother, pointed toe gypsy dancer, and friend. Being the international spy that she believed, was an adventure all her own. We will forever be grateful for the lessons she taught us about love, life, and family.
She is survived by her father Lt. Col. Paul Simpson King (ret) Siblings: William R. King (Pam) Kimberly A. Canady (Kim L) and David P. King. Her children Shaila Cartwright (Lyn Hargis) Olivia Kinder (Veloyed) Marshall Cartwright and Nicholas P. Hansen (Crystal). Her 5 grandchildren: Jaylen, Asher, Trinity, Zaius, and Kai and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother Olive Mary Kiley King, and husband Jon N. Hansen
The family would like to thank Dr. Douglas White for his years as her physician who showed her kindness and compassion. And Intermountain Homecare who made the end of her life bearable.
