Carol Jean Harrison passed away Oct 29, 2009 surrounded by her family and caretakers. Born May 16, 1935 to Russell and Mildred Harrison. Carol Jean lived a very simple life on this earth asking only for a pop, magazines and pumpkin pie. At a young age she sustained a head injury which left her mentally challenged and also contracted Polio which left her disabled. Carol Jeans mother dedicated her life to take care of her until she passed away and then her eldest sister, Cleo Fuessel saw to her needs until she passed away in 2005. Teri Lu Fuessel then took on the great responsibility of seeing to her needs on a weekly and sometimes daily basis. Carol Jean resided the last twenty years at Wasatch Valley Rehabilitation Center where she made many lifetime friends of residents and staff members alike.
Carol Jean was preceded in death by both parents, three sisters who passed away in their infancy, her sister Cleo Harrison Fuessel and her brother Russell Arvin Harrison. Survived by two sisters Loraine Tranter (Leonard) and Evelyn Moore, brother in-law Herman (Mike) Fuessel, sister in-law Teresa Harrison, as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Wasatch Valley Rehabilitation Center, particularly Heidi Robinson who has been a "guardian angel" to her and always looked out for her, we will always be grateful to her for her Christ-Like service.
