Carol Joyce Denison

Carol Joyce Denison passed away on February 8, 2023 at the age of 88.  In Murray, Utah. She was born on December 6, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Paul Franklin Nelson and Vena Child Nelson. Carol was the youngest of 7 children. She married Leland Hans Denison on September 19, 1958.
Carol played the piano, enjoyed gardening, sewing, reading, and many other things. She was a dedicated disciple of Christ, who loved the Lord. She served in many positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Family was most important to her, and she loved spending holidays and special occasions with them. She went out of her way to make the holidays special, and to this day everybody remembers spending those special moments with her.
Carol is survived by her six children, Sharlene (Boyd) Smith, Christine Denison, Julie Hunt, David (Stephanie) Denison, Jared (Kaelyn) Denison, and Joseph Denison, sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Leland, her siblings, parents, and great-granddaughter, Abigail Ruth Zornes.
Services for Carol will take place at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 11:00 AM. There will be a daytime viewing prior to services from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. There will also be an evening viewing the night before on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Mountain View. Interment at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery.
