Carol Ann (Powell) Olson

Carol Ann Powell Olson died on October 15, 2022, in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 82. She was born on May 12, 1940, in Los Angeles, California to Dean Van Powell and Gladys Carol Hansen. Carol Ann married Robert Vern Olson on June 6, 1958. Carol Ann was a wonderful wife and homemaker, an awesome quilter, and enjoyed working as a Family Tree missionary. She was called to serve as a leader and teacher to Primary children, Young Women, and the Relief Society. Carol Ann gladly answered all callings and enjoyed every minute of service. She was a child of God and disciple of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Carol Ann is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert Vern Olson, and children: Robert Mark Olson (Laurie), Dawn Carol Bassett (Gary), Dana Ann Olson Reid (Mike), Eric Vern Olson (Michelle), William Dean Olson, Aaron Craig Olson (Dana Elise), Michael Lee Olson, Mikan Emma Olson (Rene), Sisters: Jody Packard (Bruce), Julie Call (Glen), Janice Campbell (Max), Sharon Pedersen (Don), Sandy Peterson (Randy), Marilyn Garrett (Brett), Lanette Empey (Kim), fifteen grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Lawrence Edward Powell, sister Ronnie Jeanne Powell Bingham, and daughter Bethani Annel Olson.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 11:00 am at the Silver Creek Chapel, 510 Silver Summit Parkway in Park City, Utah. A graveside service will be held at Sunset Gardens in Richland, Washington at a date to be determined.
