Caroline Teuila Ulugia

January 3, 1985 — July 14, 2023

It is with an immeasurable and profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our dearest Caroline Teuila Ulugia. Our hearts are heavy as we announce that she was gracefully lifted to her heavenly home on Friday, July 14th, 2023, in Salt Lake City, UT.
Caroline was not just our beloved daughter, sister, and friend; she was the embodiment of love, kindness, and compassion. Her journey on this Earth began on January 3rd, 1985, in Apia, Samoa, to her loving parents, Ioane and Galusina Ulugia. As an ambitious Capricorn, she possessed a determination that was evident from a young age. The third eldest among her six siblings, she grew up in Salt Lake City, UT, where she embraced life with open arms and an ever-curious spirit.
Education held a special place in Caroline’s heart, and she pursued her dreams by attending college and dedicating herself to the field of sociology . However, life had more in store for her, and her path later led her to Technical Recruiting, where she found her true calling: empowering others to reach their full potential. Her dedication to helping people develop and grow was truly admirable and reflected the very essence of her beautiful soul.
Beyond her career, Caroline had an incredible talent for writing and offering wise counsel that touched countless lives. Often, she would be found tucked away in a cozy corner, immersed in a good book or pouring her thoughts into her cherished journal. Her love for literature and words was an inseparable part of her identity.
With an adventurous spirit, Caroline delighted in exploring the world, savoring new and exciting food(s), and planning memorable events for her loved ones. Her warm and inviting nature made everyone she encountered feel like an instant member of her extended family. Her genuine smile, infectious laughter, and genuine care for others created an environment of comfort and acceptance wherever she went.
Caroline leaves behind a legacy of love and joy that will forever echo in the hearts of those she touched. She is survived by her loving and devoted family: her dear mother, Galusina, and her beloved siblings, Perelini (Lasi), Steve (Imo), Catherine, Christine, April, and their children, her cherished nephews (Steve Jr., Jaymy) and niece (Hola). Though she is no longer with us, her presence will forever be felt through the memories and love shared by those who were blessed to know her.
In the heavens, Caroline is reunited with her dear father, Ioane, as well as her precious nephew and niece, JJ and Mary. May they find eternal peace together, watching over us from above.
As we grieve the loss of our dear Caroline, let us remember her with joy and gratitude for the profound impact she had on each of our lives. Her light will continue to shine within us, guiding us through dark moments and reminding us to embrace life’s joys with the same passion and kindness she exemplified.
