Catherine Emily Tierney passed away August 16, 2008 after an extended illness. She was born in Los Angeles, CA in 1921 to Joseph and Rebecca Peha. She was a graduate of the University of California and became a teacher of Arts and Crafts in the Los Angeles city schools, and moved to Salt Lake City in 1971. She is survived by her husband, Patrick Lennox Tierney; son, Stephen Lennox Tierney; sister, Sarah Eisner; nephews, Dan, Paul; nieces, Judy, Diane, and Millicent.
