Catherine Loeper Walker “Kaili”

June 23, 1967 — April 1, 2025

Catherine Loeper Walker “Kaili” Age: 57. Died on April 1, 2025 in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.

Kaili Walker was born on June 23, 1967, in Hong Kong. After living in Hong Kong, Singapore, Iran, and California, Kaili’s formative years were spent in Pocatello, Idaho. In 1988 she moved to Salt Lake City where she completed her bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of Utah. She married Brent Walker on September 28, 1991.

Described as “tiny but mighty,” Kaili was a force to be reckoned with. When she had her mind made up about anything, it was a done deal. With just the right amount of style and class, Kaili has always been put together. She had a green thumb and loved to work in the garden, finding joy in her pumpkin patch and yearly tulips.

She found her greatest joy and purpose in being a mother, a role she embraced with unwavering love, strength, and grace. In July of 1994, Kaili and Brent welcomed their first-born son, Brandon. He was the light of Kaili’s life. She reveled in all his milestones and nurtured him along the way.

Partners in life and in profession, Kaili assisted Brent with his insurance agency and Brandon grew up before their eyes. In September of 2005, Kaili gave birth to Ella, her “mini-me.” She made sure to never miss any of Ella’s performances and took pride in her achievements.

Kaili’s legacy is one of love, selflessness, and the beautiful life she built around her children. Motherhood wasn’t just a part of her life – it was her life’s greatest honor.

Preceded in death by her parents, William Joseph, and Catherine Anne Loeper. Survived by her husband Brent, son Brandon, and daughter Ella.
