Chuck loved his military service. He served 22 years and has the deepest respect for his country. Following his retirement from the Navy, Chuck spent 25 years in Silicon Valley in Engineering Maintenance. He was on the ground floor of cell phone and home computer development. His company helped in creation of Atari game systems.
In recent years he turned his heart to the special needs children he transported on his school bus.
He was a temple ordinance worker for 18 years.
Over the years he has golfed and later participated on a workplace bowling league.
He enjoys woodworking and tackles any repair job around the house. In Hollister he designed and built a 4000 square foot horse barn complete with tack room, overhead storage loft and hay storage area. He even hung a nontoxic spray system to eliminate flies.
He loved to read, in later years he always had his head buried in a book.
Chuck loved his family and wants them to build the best life they can.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Diane along with nine children, 20 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 1 Great -great grandchild.
There will be a daytime viewing held for him on Tuesday August 23, 2022 from 9 to 11 AM at memorial Redwood Mortuary located at 6500 South Redwood Road West Jordan, UT. A graveside service will immediately follow after the viewing at the same location.Service Information
