Charles Keith Laver died on July 8, 2011. He was born on November 6, 1922 in Mantua, Utah to Charles Archie and Elzada Mary Petersen Laver. He was the fifth of nine children. He graduated from Box Elder High School and attended LDS Business College. He was a bombardier during WWII. He graduated, in accounting, from the University of Utah and later started his own CPA firm. He married the love of his life, B. Eleanor Ware, in St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Salt Lake City in 1951 and they were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in 1957.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor, and his five children Jeff, Todd, Nate (Sonya), Sue, Andrew (Jennifer), ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Vard (Marie), Clyde, Frank (Ann), and sisters Nola Larsen and Jeanne Nichols.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Boyd and Clinton, sister Kathlyn, and granddaughter, Emily.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, July 12 from 6-8 PM at the East Mill Creek 7th Ward building, 3408 Celeste Way (3120 East). A Memorial Service will be held at the East Mill Creek 7th Ward at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 13.
