Cheryl L. Stewart, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on October 22, 2026, in Sandy, Utah, at the age of 76. She was born on July 26, 1950, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Cheryl faced multiple sclerosis for most of her life with enduring strength. Her long journey was marked by perseverance, and those who knew her will remember the courage she carried through the years.

Above all, Cheryl’s life was centered on the people she loved. She shared more than 42 years of marriage with her husband, William Stewart, and together they built a family that remained a lasting source of love and connection. She is also survived by her daughter, Tammy Hulse, and Tammy’s family, including Fritz and their children, Skyler, Emily, Joshua, and Jeremy, and 7 great grandchildren, whose lives carry forward Cheryl’s love as a grandmother.

She is further survived by her brother, Robert Strong and his wife, Gin; her sister, Heidi Crane; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law,  Dick and Pam Ward. Dear cousin, Wesley Brady, beloved friend Liz Weller. Cheryl will be remembered with deep affection by her family and by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind, in the bonds of family she cherished, and in the quiet example of resilience she gave throughout her life.
